Blending industrial history with 21st-century architectural details, This Live/Work artist loft has original 1898 maple flooring, 12'6" ceilings, and a creative lighting and layout. A reflective, curved sheet-metal wall creates a dramatic entryway while dividing the studio space from the living space. Studio features include two 7.5-foot north-facing windows, a built-in workbench, ample lighting, and homasote-lined walls for easy art display. The adjacent office also accommodates a fold-out bed. Windows line the entire length of the living-dining-kitchen area, including a floor-to-ceiling window in the kitchen. A darkroom opens off the living area and has ventilation and a slop sink. Stairs made of steel catwalk grating lead from the living area to a 100 s.f. bed loft wrapped on two sides with vintage, operable windows and blackout shades, with a large storage area underneath. ***Must be a practicing artist , co-op board approval required and must be the primary residence.
